Stop Pampering Shatta Wale – Stonebwoy To Media
Ghanaian afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste, Stonebwoy believes the media lacks the courage to tell his colleague artiste, Shatta Wale the unadorned facts about his bad attitude towards other musicians.
Shatta Wale has been accused by several colleague artistes of having problems with them yet present different story to the media regarding uniting Ghanaian artistes.
The ‘Bawasaaba’ hit singer described the leader of the Shatta Movement group as hypocrite.
He noted that Shatta Wale has always been attacking his colleagues just to look good before the public but will always call to apologize for his reckless comments about people; something he (Stonebwoy) sees as hypocrisy.
Speaking on Hit Fm, Stonebwoy stated categorically that Shatta’s comment about trying to make the industry better is fallacy.
He asserted that Shatta Wale’s intent to approach fellow artistes he has offended in the past to write off the wrongs and start a new alliance is made-up because he has been indulged by the media.
The Zylofon signed artiste claimed that if his record label mate wants a fruitful alliance to make the Ghanaian industry better, he should apologize to all those artistes he has been rude to.
“You’ve pampered the guy too much. If he wants to get things done right, he should first apologize to ALL those he has disrespected and we will be ready to make this industry better. You think you alone get High Key.” Stonebwoy said on Hit FM.
The two Dancehall acts have over time been involved in some frictions, which critics believe is as a result of the battle for supremacy.
Often the fans of the two factions have also waded into the fray.
