Justice Assanqoma popularly known by the stage name Assanqoma is a Ghanaian Highlife and Afropop recording artiste.
Formally known as Justoe. Assanqoma hails from Takoradi where his passion for music was nurtured while growing up in a household filled with music enthusiasts.
Gifted with a unique vocal prowess, Assanqoma’s Dad who was part of a band greatly influenced the crooner’s musical skills.
Building his desire for music in his teen years, Assanqoma’s musical career started taking shape in the early 2000 but it was in 2006 that he took a shot at the mainstream scene.
The collaborative release of ‘Filli Filli’ by then Hiplife group Mframa ft highlife guru Kwabena Kwabena and Assanqoma was a sensational hit eventually making the song a chart topping single.
Building on that momentum, Assanqoma once again landed another huge collaborative work with iconic highlife singer Nana Fynn titled ‘’Twe Woho’’. The success of the single got Assanqoma featured on five singles off Nana Fynn’s album.
Another collaborative success Assanqoma chalked was with fellow singer Barowsky from the camp of Ofori Amponsah on hit singles ‘Okyerewaba’ and ‘Aka Mano’.
In 2010, Assanqoma released his studio debut album ‘Ashiasie’, the 12 tracklist record had hits including ‘Sweety Why’, ‘Faati’ & ‘3y3 Ntro’.
Assanqoma released another hit single in 2011 titled ‘Bra Yensa’, which featured S.K Original.
Signed by MaddHaus Entertainment in 2013, Gradually working his way through the music ranks, Assanqoma has been a household name gracing numerous shows over the years.
Associated with performing live, Assanqoma has featured on live TV shows like TV3’s ‘Music Music’, TV Africa’s ‘Sound Splash’ and other entertainment platforms across the country.
Determined to stop at nothing but the top. Assanqoma has over the years proven his consistency in the highlife world.
He is currently out with another banger with he features the 'Osey' hitmaker, Nero X on it and they call this Talanku.
