I'm Not Illuminati - Epixode
If you are a follower of reggae/dancehall artiste, Epixode, you have definitely noticed his new looks with the face painting.
The new him has made a section of the public question if he is one of the Illuminati group members. The question popped up again when he appeared on TV Africa Wednesday morning to promote his new album, 3nity.
The ‘Avatar’ hitmaker reacting to the question a fan asked during the interview with Nikki Samonas made it clear that he is not an Illuminati member. He explained that he made the face painting to differentiate him from other artistes so the public should erase the notion that he is part of the secret society hence the design on his face.
“I’ll rather call this as Fella because he used to have this face painting. Why would someone even call this illuminati because this is mostly done by Africans. This is Africa and this is new Fella Kuti. I’m not illuminati so no illuminati things.” he said
The 21-tracked album, 3nity is a combination of Reggae, Afrobeats & Dancehall.
Explaining the concept of the album at the listening session with the media on Sunday, March 4 at Badu Lounge in Accra, Epixode said, “the Reggae side of the album is called the father, the dancehall part as the son and the Afrobeats side being the Holy Spirit.”
The 2nd album featured at least 10 artistes from Ghana, Jamaica, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Cameroon et al.
Notable among the featured artistes are Stonebwoy, Kurl Songx, Mix Master Garzy, Kwame from Ghana; Yung L from Nigeria, Mel B and Ammara Brown of Zimbabwe, Tneena from Cameroon and Junior X from Jamaica.
The new album he said can be purchased on all online shops.
