A Best DJ of the year nominee at the Western music Awards, DJ Berry is set to release a mixtape themed Kofi Kinaata ‘Then and now mixtape 1’ on 8th September, 2017.
The Disc Jockey, DJ Berry who is with Skyy Media Group’s WestGold Radio in Takoradi revealed that the mixtape will be a cocktail of not-so-popular songs of the Fante rap god which were only heard in the Sekondi-Takoradi neighbourhood as well as the award winning songs of the ‘Susuka’ crooner.
According to DJ Berry who is celebrated in the Western Region as a mixtape behemoth, the mixtape will have a touch of his exceptional Disc Jockey skills. He (DJ Berry) reveals that, this is the first release from the ‘Then and Now mixtape’ and as such it focuses on Kinaata as the subsequent mixtapes will focus on other Artistes in the Western Region.
DJ Berry is confident that the mixtape will showcase to the rest of the world how talented and creative Kinaata has been since he discovered his talent as a songster.
The ‘Kofi Kinaata Then and Now mixtape 1’ will be first released online on major showbiz websites.
