Ghanaian gospel musician Joyce Blessing says the "self-acclaimed" pastor and Highlife artiste, Ofori Amponsah needs the attention of the general public that is making him talk a lot about gospel musicians.
According to Joyce Blessing in an interview with Angel FM's Busumuru, Ofori tested the waters in the gospel music scene and never succeeded - making him return to Highlife.
"He should remove the logs in his eyes before he points to others. He is saying he is a pastor but we don't know what he's doing.
He said he was a prophet, only to turn around and bring Alewa. He tested the waters by bringing about three gospel songs which were not hits that's why he ran away. He just needs attention and it will not succeed. He needs salvation. His songs are profane."
Ofori Amponsah had earlier been in the news to have said that current gospel musicians were just in the industry to amass wealth and that the kind of songs they are making are only for encouragement and not for salvation.
