The 20 year old bodacious dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns was the guest on Delay’s Show which aired today, April 2nd on Ghone Tv and as usual Delay asked her questions without fear or favour.
Ebony reigns disclosed on the show that her dad is her best friend and that her parents got divorced when she was very young and was raised up by the dad because her mom was not at home most of the time as she traveled in and out of the country for business.
She also said on the show that her decision to put her SHS education on hold was because she wanted to pursue music but intends to complete her secondary school education in the near future. Delay suggested to her that her sexual mannerism was why she was able to break into the lime light but she (Ebony) added that her talent is the major thing before the sexually suggestive postures comes in and that it is the combination of the two.
Ebony who sounded confident and very honest in answering the questions thrown at her admitted that she is a bad girl and that’s something that’s part of her of her and won’t regret anything that she’s doing now in the future.
Delay also questioned her why she would go on stage and for instance twerk on a guy on a bed without considering the danger in doing so as some guys can just pounce on her while on stage as something of that sort has happened in Ghana in the past but Ebony replied saying that, everything is planned before she comes on stage and that there is always a strong security in place for her and so because there’s God too, something like that won’t happen to her.
“It won’t happen because the team i work with the security is very tight and I know what I am doing before doing it, and we take risks so we ensure security is very tight, and there’s God too so nothing bad will happen”
Ebony Reigns has been nominated in three categories in this year’s VGMAs, Best New Artiste, Best Reggae Dancehall Song of the year and Best Reggae Dancehall artiste of the year
